Mobile Phones, Emergencies & Paging

| Judith Hawking in Bad Dates. |
Mobile phones and beepers must be turned off in the theatre. If you need to be reached due to an emergency, please leave your phone or pager with the house manager along with your name and seat location, so as not to disturb the other patrons. This will help us to locate you quickly in the case of an emergency. Our emergency number is 513/345-2247.
Children
To ensure an enjoyable experience for all, children under the age of 6 will not be admitted to Playhouse productions, unless otherwise advertised. Parents with disruptive children will be asked to leave. Please read the content advisories on each show index page to determine if a particular show is suitable for your child.
Inclement Weather
The show must go on! Unless the city officially closes roads to non-essential traffic, all performances will continue as scheduled, regardless of weather conditions.
Coat Check
From October to March, a coat check room is available to our patrons inside the entrance to the Otto M. Budig Lobby.
Latecomers and Readmittance
Latecomers are seated at the discretion of the house manager, which may be as late as intermission. Latecomers may be denied admission depending on the demands or structure of a particular production, so please be sure to allow enough time to arrive, park and be seated before show time. Should you need to leave the theatre during a performance, re-admittance and seating will be at the discretion of the house manager so as not to disturb the audience and performers.
What to Wear
Theatre is, after all, about expressing yourself, so we don’t have an official dress code. We want our guests to be comfortable and enjoy themselves while they’re here. So dress it up or dress it down – it’s up to you.

PROHIBITION OF WEAPONS
Here's the legalese: The Ohio Revised Code (R.C. 2923.126) has established the privilege of carrying a concealed handgun to Ohio citizens who have obtained the proper license. The same law explicitly grants private employers in the State the right to prohibit their employees and visitors from possessing firearms on the employer’s premises. With this notification, the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park is informing you that it prohibits weapons of any kind on its premises, and reserves the right to search all persons, parcels and vehicles on the same. This policy applies to all employees, patrons and visitors to the facility. |
