POSITION: Props Artisan

The Tony Award-winning Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park is accepting applications for the position of Props Artisan. The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude and a broad range of skills including but not limited to: computer graphics, casting, welding, electrical wiring, mechanical fabrication, sculpting, carpentry, and sewing. Ability to elegantly solve complex problems under changing deadlines is essential. Familiarity with period style, organizational and time management proficiency, and a desire to expand knowledge base are critical. Essential functions include:  ability to lift at least 50lbs, work while on a ladder, drive a van and small truck. Must have a current driver’s license and a clean driving record. Minimum four years professional experience required. College degree in theater a definite plus. This is a full-time seasonal position and is represented by IATSE Local 5.
